I’m Monique, a proud Nyoongar artist from Western Australia.
My art is inspired by my connection to Country, family, culture and the natural beauty that surrounds me. Through colour, pattern and symbolism, I create contemporary artworks that reflect stories of belonging, connection, resilience and the places we call home.
For me, painting is more than creating something beautiful. It is a way of expressing stories, honouring connections and creating something that can be carried forward for generations.
